This mini painting is part of an emotional release painting ritual, where I sat in meditation before allowing the heavy emotions to be the conduit. Abstract bright strokes were layered under a heavy bodied mixture that created natural cracks as it dried.
Each crack is filled by hand with liquid gold leaf, honoring our scars along the way.
