Clamor is Art as Ritual. 

Clamor is a scream of the soul. Two years in the making,  it became a liminal space where grief is not transmuted, but honoured. My new body of work explores art as prayer, when there is nowhere left to go but within.

In my work I tend to transmute pain, and turn it into something I could consider beautiful; where I take my darkness and transform it into light. But exploring art as ritual involves feeling uncomfortable with the process of creation. It involves forgetting the end result and sitting only in your truth. 

Clamor is an ode to my grief, to my darkness, and to my light.

A testament that your darkness is your biggest teacher. 

My most personal collection to date; a dairy of pain, grief, fervor, and a love letter to every single version of myself. 

Clamor taught me that when you create from a place of truth, that process becomes medicine.
