This is the main painting in my "Solace" Collection. Solace is inspired by the tranquility found in solitude and the acceptance for the things we cannot chance. This painting encompasses sombre yet elegant tones, and rich metallics portraying fortitude and vulnerability.
Multiple layers of mixed mediums each drying over a period of 24 hours allowed each layer to act as a painting of its own while complementing the entire composition of the paiting as layers were added.
The glass like resin finish with the black & gold tones reflect every type of light differently. So this painting will mold to any space perfectly.
The likeness of an abstract lionness apears on the top right corner of the painting that formed organically as the last gold layer of paint dried. I think it's a very powerful way to seal this collection.
