Colombia is my home country, but it’s also not home. Nonetheless, I am profoundly proud of my heritage, and Tierra I wanted to capture the raw beauty I see when I go back; a resilient and rough beauty that has survived so much pain and suffering but had managed to remain whole. And that’s something I can certainly relate to.
This painting has countless mediums that create a thick texture juxtaposed by shining metallics. Both dance together to create a strong and raw beautiful piece. Tierra II will bring the strength and the beauty that you deserve in your space.
